Detailed Report

Milo is a mixed-breed dog who lives in the garden and follows a commercial diet. Parasite prevention is up to date.
The owner brings Milo in for a visit due to continuous licking. The general physical examination is normal. On visual inspection of the coat, licking granules are noticed on the front paws, appearing as circular lesions with alopecic, thickened, and erythematous skin; the back of the right paw and the toes also show erythematous skin.
The accessory toe (left hind paw) is swollen, erythematous, with a crusty area. Scotch test and Wood’s lamp are negative. I recommend leishmania testing and a hypoallergenic diet. I immediately start treatment with Aloeplus Syrup and Aloeplus Dermo Spray. By the 20th day, there is already a clear improvement in the lesions, especially on the accessory toe. After 25 days, the itching is under control, the lesion on the accessory toe has healed, while the lesions on the front paws are gradually improving. By the 35th day, the lesions are almost completely closed, the coat is regrowing, and the skin is no longer erythematous. After 60 days, the patient is brought back for a visit and declared healed; in fact, there is no longer any trace of the lesions and the paws are fully covered with coat.
